Mikal Johnson has been writing short stories and poetry since high school.
He had several poems published in anthologies in the early 1990s and his first novel, War of Grace, was self-published in 1997, and was recently released in a second printing.
A short story, Future Ghosts, was the introductory feature in the premiere issue of the magazine Revelations in 2003 and he worked as a historical consultant on the web-series Millennium: Apocalypse, in 2006. Also in 2003, he released a collection titled Not the Worst Poetry followed in 2005 by Not the Worst Short Stories.
A revised printing of War of Grace was published this year and is available at Amazon.com and CreateSpace.com. It is also available for Kindle.
